Resveratrol is a secondary plant substance, more specifically polyphenol. It is found in various plants such as grapes, raspberries, peanuts, and in Reynoutria japonica. Reynoutria japonica, also called Asian knotweed or Japanese knotweed, is a fast-growing plant that is now at home and in Europe. The active substance trans-resveratrol can be found in all parts of this plant. Compared to resveratrol, trans-resveratrol has a higher bioavailability. The piperine contained in our product further improves absorption.
