Wild teasel, which can grow to a height of 2 meters, belongs to the family of honeysuckle and its Latin name is Dipsacus fullonum. It is native to Eurasia and North Africa, but it is known in the Americas, southern Africa, Australia and New Zealand. People have always known how to use parts of this thistle plant. Prior to industrialization, for example, flower heads of various kinds of the wild teasel were used to comb unspun wool. Today, The Wild teasel is used mainly in the kitchen, in the garden and in the naturopathic sector.
