Glucosamine belongs to the group of amino sugars. It occurs naturally in the body and is part of cartilage. Two sources of glucosamin sulfate are used in nutritional supplements: crustaceans or plants. To rule out allergens, the gluosamin sulfate we use is obtained from fermented vegetables.
Chondroitin - in the form of chondroitin sulfate - is made up of chondroblasts in the body and is also a natural part of cartilage tissue. The chondroitin sulfate we use is made from beef.
Glucosamine 500 also contains chondroitin 400, manganese and selenium. Manganese helps maintain normal bones and normal connective tissue formation, selenium protects cells from oxidative stress.
