Description
For valuable support of the energy balance
Ubiquinol is a reduced form of coenzyme Q10. Coenzyme Q10 contained in blood plasma normally consists of approximately 95% ubiquinol. The proportion of ubiquinone is only about 5%. Above all, ubiquinol plays a central role in the mitochondria in the conversion of energy from carbohydrates, fats and proteins into cell energy. However, with age, the body produces less and less Q10 and can then be converted less to ubiquinol.
