Citrus bioflavonoids are a group of flavonoids found mainly in the peel of citrus fruits. These flavonoids contribute to the colour, aroma and flavour of the fruit.
The best known citrus bioflavonoids are hesperidin, quercetin, rutin and naringin. These natural compounds are known for their antioxidant properties and work in combination with vitamin C. As the body cannot produce bioflavonoids, we rely on dietary intake or supplements.
The hesperidin in our product is 100% derived from bitter orange (Citrus aurantium L.) and is naturally sourced.
