The pineapple enzyme
The pineapple contains a very special enzyme - bromelain. In 1957 it was discovered that it occurs in high concentrations in the stem of the pineapple plant. Bromelain is a proteolytic, i.e. protein-splitting enzyme.

Consumption recommendation
