Sour fruits from the Andes
Rosehips are the bright red fruits of wild rose species. Sweet and sour flesh can be eaten raw. However, fine hairs or kernels should be removed first, as they can cause itching. We use 100% pure organic fruit powder for our rosehip powder. At the high altitudes of the Chilean Andes, dog rose bushes (Rosa Canina) grow slowly, which contributes to the premium quality of our product. Ripe fruits are picked by hand and dried gently. The fruits are then ground to a powder.
