Polyporus, literally translated as "many pores", has long been used as a medicinal fungus. A mushroom related to Polypor was even found in the famous mummy of the ice man Ötzi. For our Polyporus extract, the soluble parts are removed from the sponge powder and then evaporated, leaving a concentrate that contains therapeutically important secondary components, such as polysaccharides, with excellent availability.
