A special source of omega-3 fatty acids
This krill oil is extracted from Antarctic krill, crustaceans up to 6 cm long that occur in the Southern Ocean and Antarctic waters. It is considered to be a supplier of valuable omega-3 fatty acids, but over other sources of omega-3 fatty acids it has the decisive advantage that krill also contains omega 3 in the form of phospholipids. In other words: The omega-3 fatty acids contained do not bind to triglycerides, but to phospholipids. They are emulsifiers and can therefore be mixed with water, which significantly increases the bioavailability of omega-3 fatty acids so that the body can absorb them more easily and use them better. This water solubility also means that even people with fatty digestive disorders can absorb the valuable components of this krill oil. In addition, Krill Oil 500 mg Antarctic contains two other important substances: choline, which contributes to normal lipid metabolism, and astaxanthin.
The krill oil used comes exclusively from the environmentally friendly caught Antarctic krill and is the only krill oil recommended by WWF with the MSC seal for sustainability.
