But protein-rich bean extract contains everything you need: Like a plant, bean extract contains phaseoline, one of the main reserve proteins of many bean species. The alpha-amylase enzyme contained in them inhibits the degradation of carbohydrate molecules and thus acts as a natural carbohydrate blocker. In other words: inhibits the decomposition of starch. Bean extract also contains vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the nervous and immune systems, as well as to the production of collagen, which is important, for example, for the normal function of blood vessels, bones and skin. The bean extract also contains zinc, which contributes to normal acid-base and carbohydrate metabolism and which has an important function in cell division.
